RER IS GUIDED BY STRONG ENVIRONMENTAL PRINCIPLES

At RER, our objective is clear: developing ecological, high efficiency energy systems that harness renewable, hydrokinetic energy sources.

In developing our TREK turbine, RER identified many sustainable development and environmental priorities. These include:

  • Green house gas free The energy produced from the TREK turbine emits no green house gasses while in operation.
  • Land conservation Requires no dam, and does not cause flooding.
  • Wildlife protection Designed with consideration for aquatic species.
  • Public land use retention Will not prevent the public from using waterways for recreational pursuits.
